Keeping Your Trees Healthy

After we moved into a new home, I realized that the trees out front needed some serious attention. They were overgrown, tired-looking, and a little dangerous, so I started working with professional arborists to have them trimmed. It was a lot of work, but before we knew it, things had really improved. By the time they were finished pruning the branches, the trees didn't block the view of our home and we really felt like they would bloom better in the spring. Check out this blog for more information that could help you to keep your trees happy and healthy.

3 Important Reasons Why Commercial Property Owners Need To Hire A Tree Service

Are you the owner of a piece of commercial property that has one or more trees growing on it? In general, have you ignored the trees and left them to their own devices? Most trees do not typically need much in the way of care. At least, not most of the time. A little water, some sun, and they're able to thrive. However, this isn't all that trees need. For best results, you should pay to have the trees trimmed on an annual basis. There are multiple reasons why you should even care whether or not this is done, some of which are:

Save money: If a tree becomes damaged by a storm or by insects, this damage can allow a disease to be introduced to the tree. Unchecked, this disease can spread until the entire tree has died off. A dead tree would then obviously need to be completely removed. A full tree removal doesn't come cheap and may require a significant portion of your property to be closed off for the several hours that the removal process can take. Professional trimming and pruning by a tree service should cost less, typically takes less time, and should eliminate or prevent the spread of many types of insect damage or disease.

Avoid lawsuits: Trees that have been ignored or neglected may become damaged or diseased without this being noticed. A tree that has been damaged or diseased may shed its limbs without any warning, potentially injuring anyone or damaging anything that happens to be below. If a visitor to your property is injured or has a vehicle damaged by one of these fallen branches, they could potentially at least try to bring a lawsuit against you in order to recoup medical expenses or damages. Avoid having to deal with this hassle by hiring a tree service to come and trim your trees into a shape that is least likely to cause any potential damage or injury.

Better aesthetics: In order to get as many customers or clients visiting your commercial property as possible, you'll want to make sure that everything looks clean and well-cared-for. The more pleasing a place is to look at and the less abandoned that a property is in appearance, the more likely people are to be willing to visit. Although a natural tree can be beautiful on its own, one that has been trimmed by a tree service is more likely to have a neat and tidy appearance that will be aesthetically pleasing to more people.
